Artist Statement

My piece represents the sun’s rays peaking out from beneath the clouds and lighting up the world on a cloud day.  When I’m around the people that I admire, they are like single ray of sunshine that gives me a flicker of hope and encourages me to keep pushing forward.  My heroes are the ones that help me bloom like how sunlight nourishes plants.  My heroes are the ones that light up my way when I’m walking through the darkest paths.
